Scuba dress

Hola! 

Tenía muchas ganas de un Scuba dress (Un vestido de punto de neopreno) pero como soy muy alta, los de las tiendas me quedan muy cortos así que decidí hacerme uno. Es el primer vestido que hago así que no os asustéis, es muy facil.

Lo primero que hice fue pensar el diseño y las medidas para saber cuanta tela necesitaba, tuve suerte y encontré este retal un poco rebajado (6.95 €)

También necesitamos una cremallera, en este caso utilicé una negra y plateada y la cosí por fuera para dejarla vista ya que está muy de moda (2,85).

Papel de periódico o patrones

Tijeras, alfileres, hilo de hilván e hilo negro para coser a máquina.

Tachuelas y lazo (Opcional)

Estos son los patrones que utilicé:

La primera pieza que tenemos es uno de los trozos de la falda, necesitaremos 6, la X será la medida de nuestra cintura entre 6, más 2 cm de cada lado.

Ejemplo: si nuestra cintura mide 60 cm cada pieza medirá 14 cm donde está dibujada la X.

El largo será el que vosotras decidais.

La siguiente pieza es la espalda, necesitaremos dos piezas. Si queréis que la espalda vaya en dos colores como en mi vestido, cortaremos las dos piezas en el mismo sentido, así al ponerlas enfrentadas una quedará dada la vuelta. Yo decidí hacer esto para que el vestido fuese aún más diferente y especial. B, será la medida de nuestra cintura ente 4, siempre sumaremos los 2 cm a cada lado de la pieza.

El largo será desde vuestra nuca hasta vuestra cintura.

La pieza que cubre el pecho irá dividida en 3, como véis en las fotos así conseguiremos hacer la forma del pecho. L será la medida de la parte inferior de nuestro pecho a nuestra cintura.

A continuación cortaremos e hilvanaremos todas las piezas. Es la hora de probar nuestro vestido, si necesitas hacer correcciones este es el momento. Cuando esté a tu gusto cóselo a máquina por el interior.

Para rematar el cuello y las mangas hacemos una costura. Para el bajo hice una bastilla simple.

Por último añadí un cuello de babero con la misma tela, tachuelas recicladas y un lazo para poder ponerlo y quitarlo si un dia no llevo complementos plateados, para lavarlo en la lavadora...

Hi! 

I really wanted a Scuba dress but as I'm too tall all the ones on the shops are very short to me, so I decided to make one. It is the first dress that I so don't get panic, it's very easy.

First thing I did was to think about the design and the measures to know how much fabric I was going to need. I was lucky and found this scrap on sales (6.95 €)

We also need a zipper, in this case I used a black and silver zipper and I sewed it on the outside as it is very trendy (2.85 €).

Newsprint or patterns

You can see in the image the patterns I used.

The first piece we have is one of the pieces of the skirt, we need 6, the X will be the measure of our waist divided by 6 plus 2 cm on each side. 

For example: if our waist measures 60 cm each line which is drawn with an X measures 14 cmThe length will be that you decide.

The next piece is the back, we will need two pieces. If you want to make it in two colors like on my dress, you have to cut the two pieces in the same direction, so when put them facing you will have one in each color. I decided to do this to make the dress was even more different and special. B is the measure of our waist divided by 4 you will always add the 2 cm on each side of the piece. 

The length will be from your neck to your waist.

The piece that covers the chest will be made by 3 pieces, as you see in the pictures we will get the breast shape. L is the lenght from the lower part of our breast to your waist.

Then cut off and baste all parts. It's time to try our dress, and make corrections. When you see it Ok sew with a sewing machine on the inside.

To end the neck and sleeves make a seam. For the bass did a simple hem.

Finally I added a bib neck with the same fabric, recycled studs and a bow to put it and remove it if one day I do not wear silver accessories, to wash in the washing machine ...

Tarta Simpsons (Simpsons cake)

Este fin de semana fue el cumpleaños de una fan de los Simpsons, así que le hicimos esta rosquilla gigante mordida por Homer.

Ingredientes:

3 huevos

200 g de azúcar

100 g de aceite de girasol

170 g de harina

1 sobre de levadura

1 pizca de sal

50 g de leche

50 g de margarina

200 g de nata para montar

200 g de queso crema

100 g de azúcar glass

3 cucharadas de nesquik de fresa (O aroma)

colorante rojo/rosa

Fondant rosa y marrón claro

Caramelos de regaliz (O con forma de virutas de colores)

Un molde para horno con forma de rosquilla

Preparación:

Precalentamos el horno 30' a 170º

Preparamos el molde con mantequilla y harina.

Ponemos en un bol los huevos y el azúcar y batimos, cuado estén mezclados añadimos el aceite, la leche y la mantequilla, mezclamos y añadimos la harina, la levadura y la sal. Cuando tengamos todos los ingredientes bien incorporados ponemos la masa en el molde.

Horneamos 30 minutos a 170º, lo sacamos y dejamos enfriar.

Mientras preparamos la crema. Montamos la nada y le añadimos el resto de ingredientes hasta conseguir una crema espesa y rosa.

Cuando el bizcocho esté frío lo partimos a la mitady rellenamos con la crema. Le damos también una capa fina de crema por el exterior para que se pegue el fondant.

Amasamos el fondant color donut, lo estiramos y lo colocamos cubriendo todo el bizcocho. quitamos el sobrante y lo mojamos con un poco de agua para que brille y para que se peque la siguiente capa de fondant.

Estiramos el fondant rosa, le damos formas redondeadas y lo colocamos en la parte superior de la rosquilla.

Por último pegamos las virutas con ayuda de un poco de agua.

Si queremos que la rosquilla esté mordida quitamos un trozo con ayuda de un cuchillo y le damos forma de mordisco con un cortador de galletas redondeado.

This weekend it was the birthday of a Simpsons's Fan, so we made this giant donut bitten by Homer.

Ingredients:
3 eggs
200 g of sugar
100 g of sunflower oil
170 g of flour
1 bag of yeast
1 pinch of salt
50 g of milk
50 g of margarine

200 g of whipping cream
200 g of cream cheese
100 g of icing sugar
3 tablespoons of strawberry nesquik (or similar flavor)
Red / pink dye
Pink and light brown fondant
Licorice (Or shaped color chips)

A baking dish donut-shaped

Preparation:
Preheat the oven 30' to 170º.
Prepare the mold with butter and flour.
Put in a bowl the eggs and sugar and beat, when mixed we add the oil, the milk and the butter, mix well and add the flour, the yeast and the salt. When we have all the ingredients well incorporated place the dough in the pan.
Bake 30 minutes at 170 degrees, take it out and let cool.
Prepare the cream. Whip the cream and add the remaining ingredients until have a thick and pink cream.
When the cake is cool, part in a half and fill with cream. We also give a thin layer of cream on the outside so the fondant will stick.
Knead the donut colored fondant, stretch and place covering the whole cake. remove the excess and dip with a little water to make it shine and stick the next layer of fondant.
Stretch the pink fondant making rounded shapes and place on top of the donut.
Finally paste the sweets using water.
If you want the donut to be bitten remove a piece with a knife and make a bite shape with a round cookie cutter.
